Prevention, Maintenance and Weaning Strategies for Temporary Tube feeding in Infancy & Early Childhood

The NoTube experts will visit Australia in February 2012. From the 15th to the 17th they will be in Adelaide and on the 23rd and 24th in Sydney. Prof. Marguerite Dunitz-Scheer and Prof. Peter Scheer will be available for professionals as well as for parents and carers to meet.

The weaning method which has been developed, published and presented on this page is a highly specialized medically and developmentally based therapeutic intervention, which is individually fitted for each child and based on its specific individual medical history and condition.

The Power of Music

We are proud to announce that Marguerite Dunitz-Scheer, MD, head of NoTube medical coaching and consulting will be featured in a half-hour long special report on Austrian TV ORF2 this upcoming Sunday, 20 February 2010. The report “The Power of Music” focuses on the fascinating story of the Skating Amadeus choir, a music-therapy project that Marguerite initiated back in 2001. The choir is composed of around 80 children, aged 3-19 years.

NoTube’s CEO Samuel Scheer and the medical team represented by Marguerite Dunitz-Scheer and Ronny Scheer hosted the first Notube Conference on October 28th at the Hayarkon Centre in Tel Aviv. SLT Nophar Ben David opened the conference and introduced Prof. Miri Keren, president elect of the WAIMH who gave an excellent introduction to the theme.

Our Team participates in the Congress on Eating Disorders 2011 from October 20th to October 22th in Alpbach, Tyrol, Austria.It is the 19th International Conference on Eating Disorders.

We are very proud to inform that NoTube was awarded the first prize of the Fast Forward Public Award of the Styrian government, Austria on September 14th.

Members of the NoTube team in Germany

NoTube team members will attend a seminar on the diagnosis and classification of feeding disorders with Irene Chatoor chairing the 2-day workshop. Irene Chatoor, MD, is a well-known expert in the field of infantile feeding disorders, deputy head of the Psychiatric and Psychological Division at George Washington University and head of the Psychiatric Division for Infants at the Children’s National Medical Centre in Washington D.C., USA.
