Birgit Geher completed a degree in instrumental education at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. Subsequently, Birgit completed graduate degrees in social education and moto-pedagogy. Currently she is training to become a music therapist as well as pursuing her postgraduate degree in Medical Sciences at the Medical University of Graz. Her doctoral thesis will focus the issue of pre- and nonverbal communication in toddlers with and after long term tube feeding. She has gained extensive work experience as a teacher of brass instruments and elementary music education, both in the field of working with children and adolescents and also with adults. For several years she has been working at the Psychosomatic Division of the University Hospital for Children and Adolescents in Graz as an early childhood educator and has worked primarily with children suffering from infantile eating disorders. At NoTube, Birgit is responsible for responding to inquiries of prospective patients as well as general support questions.
