Last week Marguerite Dunitz-Scheer, MD, and her husband Peter Scheer, MD, both NoTube medical coaching and consulting specialists, took a trip to Australia in order to speak at the NoTube “Learning to eat – A systematic and successful approach for weaning from tube feeds” conferences at the Mater Children’s Hospital Brisbane and the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne.
This trip offered them the opportunity to get in touch with many Australian medical professionals as well as – most importantly – parents of tube fed children who seek assistance in weaning their child.

Our whole team was taken aback by the enormous commitment and dedication shown by the parents of former patients in organising this conference. We could have never imagined the incredible turnout we saw upon arrival at the Mater Children’s Hospital! It was a truly unique experience to get to know so many families and their children with a specific interest in the Graz tube weaning model and our Netcoaching program.

They are planning to lecture in Adelaide and Sydney again next year, in early February 2012. The presentation slides can be found in the literature section, photos and videos will be coming soon.
